Germs
Germs
The germs talk to you, and you have to interact with the screen to answer them: wipe the screen, rub it, draw shapes… These funny characters teach you to take better care of your hygiene in a playful, scientific way.
This interactive installation is designed for public places: shopping centres, waiting rooms, train stations, hospitals… It is aimed at children over 8 as well as adults.
- The types of germs and how they spread
- Good hygiene practices to limit their spread
- The potential effects of germs on health
Three characters embody the germs, with a graphic style that is at once funny, absurd and ironic:
- Virusius, the expansive, sticky virus
- Bacterio, the microscopic strategist
- Champignette, the mischievous rebel spore
The experience relies on an interactive capsule fitted with a screen: visitors place their hands on it, and they appear to be “analyzed” to detect one of the three characters. (This recognition is fictional and part of the illusion.)
A voice AI brings the characters to life: it interacts with humour and pedagogy, while delivering serious messages about health.
