How we work
A story first: what the image must make people feel, and for whom. Then a style chosen for that story, not a house style applied to everything. Sketches approved before finals. A coherent series, page after page, with the same characters, the same light, the same line.
Tools
Pencil, digital painting, 3D, photography and generative AI, depending on what the image requires. The final line is always directed and retouched by hand. Rights are assigned by contract, for the intended use.

A wordless tale about losing a loved one, told through an allegory: a bear that takes up more and more room in a grandmother’s apartment. Funny and moving moments, carried by the image alone.

A philosophical discussion on what defines humanity, carried by concept images that set the film’s tone before the shoot: places, light, the presence of the characters. Work in progress.

A ravaged planet, an abandoned ship, a child waking up in a cryogenic hold. A complete world illustrated in 32 hours for a short film: script, images, video, sound, music and editing.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does an illustrated book take?
- Two to four months for a 32-page picture book, depending on the number of illustrations and rounds of feedback. We set the schedule on the first call.
- Can I provide my own text?
- Yes. We start from your text, propose a page-by-page breakdown, then the sketches. If the text does not exist yet, we can write it with you.
- Who owns the rights?
- You do, for the use set out in the contract: publishing, screen, merchandising. The scope of the assignment is written down before we start.
- Do you make single illustrations?
- Yes, a key image, a cover or a poster. A one-off mandate starts at $2,499; the first 30-minute call is free.
